FILE VAULT ACCESS

You can view your portfolio reports online 24/7 under the "File Vault" tab to the left of this screen.  Your HAS porfolio reports and other "client access only information are in a secure folder that uses high level encryption to keep your information confidential and secure.
Instructions to begin accessing your reports:
  1. Click on the Client Center and then the File Vault option
  2. Enter your username and password (please contact us if you do not know this information)
  3. You should now be in the File Vault and have access to three folders.
    1. The first folder is "My Accounts" which gives a summary of your accounts. 
    2.  The second folder is “Reports” which contains your portfolio reports.
    3.  The “Documents” folder has two sections, Personal Documents and Office documents.  
      1. Personal documents can contain any document you would like to have access to over the web such as passports, wills, trusts, or other vital information.
      2. Office Documents are resources Hillegas Advisory Services wants to share with all of their clients.
Note: All reports are in PDF format and when you open them a new Adobe Acrobat window will open.  To view (and print) these documents, you will need to use Adobe's Reader that can be downloaded at no cost from  www.adobe.com.

eDelivery

eDelivery is the electronic delivery platform designed to make document delivery and storage faster, easier and more convenient for you. With eDelivery, it offers:

  • Less mail from Schwab—eDelivery reduces the amount of paper you receive from Schwab
  • More convenient storage—You will receive statements and trade confirms electronically, which they can easily store for future use
  • Faster delivery of account information—You will receive eConfirms and eStatements more quickly than their paper equivalents

You need a schwaballiance.com Login ID and password before you can enroll in eDelivery.

If you already have a schwaballiance.com Login ID and password, go directly to the Account tab, Balances, and select “Go Paperless” on the right hand side of the screen. Follow the instructions and select the account(s) you wish to go paperless and submit your request.

If you do not have a schwaballiance.com Login ID and password, you have three options to obtain one. Select the option below that is most convenient for you:

  • Call our office at 858.756.6111 and we can initiate a schwaballiance.com Login ID and temporary password on your behalf.
  • Register online at www.schwaballiance.com to web-activate your accounts.
  • Call Schwab Signature Alliance at 800-515-2157.

Once you set up your Login ID and password, you can sign in www.schwaballiance.com to submit your request.

MAKE A DEPOSIT

Check is for Deposit into a Schwab Brokerage Account:

For Schwab Brokerage Accounts, simply make check payable to “Charles Schwab and Co Inc” and write or print "FBO John Smith (your name) Acct No. ########" (all 8 digits) in the Memo section on the front of the check as well.

Check is for Deposit into a Schwab Retirement Account:

For Schwab Retirement Accounts, make check payable to the individual on the account and the Schwab retirement account number.

Traditional and Roth IRA checks must indicate the contribution year.

SEP-IRA, SARSEP-IRA and SIMPLE IRA deposits will be posted in the current calendar year of the contribution, even if it is not the same as the tax-reporting year.

ADDRESS CHANGES

For clients that already established Schwab Signature Alliance log on:

  1. Log on to schwaballiance.com
  2. Go to Customer Service at the top of the page
  3. Select “Update my profile”
  4. Scroll down to “Mailing Addresses & Phone Numbers” and select “Change Address/Phone Number”
  5. Complete the required fields and select the account(s) that should be updated with the new address.
  6. Click “Submit”

  1. If possible, please provide us with 3+ days advance notice for wire transfers.  This gives us sufficient time to place trades and have the trades settle, thereby making cash available.

  3. Complete the form on-line and then please fax to our dedicated Schwab Service Team at 877.283.2736.
